Hi there!!!
I miss blogging, and I miss reading blogs. Aside from the hectic daily routine, several events hindered me from updating this blog.
Here’s what happened.
First incident: I underwent a Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery last May 11.
It was around 1:00 a.m. last May 10 when a painful stomach struck me, I knew it right then and there that it was another painful attack of gallbladder disease, multiple gallstones, that is. I vomited several times and I went to the nearby drugstore to buy Nexium, the medicine I’ve been taking ever since. The pain did not subside so I decided to ask help from my sister in law and she brought me to St. Martin de Porres Hospital ER Dept. After a series for laboratory tests, the doctors ruled out that my gallbladder is already inflamed and the stones grew larger in the average size of 1-1.6 centimeters. Thus, I already needed to undergo a gallbladder surgery. A Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery (cholecystectomy) removes the gallbladder and gallstones through several small cuts (incisions) in the abdomen.

Second incident: I was robbed last May 14.
This unfortunate event happened on the night I was discharged from the hospital. A thief took my two mobile phones and a small amount of money while my daughter and I were asleep on the 2nd floor of our house. My message to the one who did this to me, God knows your evil intentions. I thank God for protecting me and the innocent lives of my children and loved ones.
So that’s it. Despite these two incidents, I will never lose my faith to God and I’ll be forever thankful for His wonderful blessings to me and my family. Belated Happy Birthday to ME!!! 🙂
