Iglesia Ni Cristo Metro Manila East District’s Palaro ng Lahi 2011

First of all, I want to greet our beloved Brother Eduardo V. Manalo who celebrated his birthday last Monday, October 31, 2011. INC brethren all over the world are united in praying to God to continue bless our Executive Minister.

In line with this, we conducted an one-day sports fest dubbed as “Palaro ng Lahi” at the Marikina Sports Center.  Famous Pinoy sports and games that we used to play when we’re still young were showcased during the activity. These include Patintero, Palo Sebo, Siato, Dodge Ball, Pinoy Football, Tug of War, and Kite Flying, among others. It was a fun-filled event and served as a venue for family bonding and for meeting new friends, too. As early as 6:30, the whole clan wearing purple shirts (our team color) traveled from Mandaluyong City to the venue.

Here are some photos courtesy of my sis-in-law that show how we enjoyed during the Palaro ng Lahi.
