Net25 Talent Search at the Unlad Kabuhayan Summit 2012

We went to the World Trade Center in Pasay City last Sunday afternoon to witness the opening of the three-day Unlad Kabuhayan Summit 2012. We arrived at the venue 2 hours ahead. Despite the long queues at the entrance, we were lucky  to be one of the hundreds or maybe thousands of attendess to roam around the exhibit area. The entire venue was jampacked with people.
Our First stop: Net25 Talent Search… My daughter Thea, together with Neryz (Yasmin’s cousin) and Alexandra (our neighbor) auditioned for on-cam talents. It was a funny and memorable experience. So what happened during Thea’s audition? Since we are practicing a lot of OPM songs in preparation for the Awit Patimpalak in Thea’s school where she’s one of the contestants. She sung Isang Lahi…We’ll she’s not in the mood to sing a Taylor Swift or Katy Perry hehe. She showed her dancing and acting talent, too. Let’s see what will happen next. According to the interviewer, Net25 is preparing for new shows and there will be another audition for children. Hope we’ll receive a call for the next round of auditions.

On the other hand, Neryz and Alexandra who are both Cosplay wannabees showed their singing talents.

Then, we hopped to the exhibitors’ booths. Flyers, pamphlets here and there.
Today is the last day of the Unlad Kabuhayan Summit 2012. There will be an Entrepreneurship Convention, a convention of mSMEs presenting the Top 10 Entrepreneurs in the Philippines;  OFW Convention,  and  Musical Extravaganza – free concert with top performing artists.  These three  events will be conducte at Hall D of World Trade Center .
