Iglesia Ni Cristo Grand Evangelical Mission tomorrow February 28

Iglesia Ni Cristo brethren and guests will gather at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Manila 5:00 pm tomorrow for a Grand Evangelical Mission. This is a nationwide event to be held on big venues in different parts of the Philippines. It is expected that guests coming from Ecclesiastical District of Laguna, Quezon Province, Batangas, Cavite, Rizal and Metropolitan Manila will occupy most of the Luneta Park up to Taft Avenue tomorrow.

I am inviting you, my friends who are not yet members of Iglesia Ni Cristo to attend this Bible Exposition. We are pleased to invite you to hear God’s teachings based on the Holy Bible, hymn signing  and prayers in this special gathering.

Iglesia Ni Cristo Metro Manila East District’s Palaro ng Lahi 2011

First of all, I want to greet our beloved Brother Eduardo V. Manalo who celebrated his birthday last Monday, October 31, 2011. INC brethren all over the world are united in praying to God to continue bless our Executive Minister.

In line with this, we conducted an one-day sports fest dubbed as “Palaro ng Lahi” at the Marikina Sports Center.  Famous Pinoy sports and games that we used to play when we’re still young were showcased during the activity. These include Patintero, Palo Sebo, Siato, Dodge Ball, Pinoy Football, Tug of War, and Kite Flying, among others. It was a fun-filled event and served as a venue for family bonding and for meeting new friends, too. As early as 6:30, the whole clan wearing purple shirts (our team color) traveled from Mandaluyong City to the venue.

Here are some photos courtesy of my sis-in-law that show how we enjoyed during the Palaro ng Lahi.

Korean Firm Starts Construction of World’s Largest Domed Arena in the Philippines

As an Iglesia Ni Cristo member, I was overwhelmed by the news that I want to blog it immediately after reading the article.
The Korea Herald reported that Hanwha Engineering and Construction Corporation began the construction of the worlds’ largest domed arena in north of Metro Manila, Philippines. The $175 million dollar contract was signed last August 14, 2011, in a ceremony attended by Hanwha E&C officials including Vice Chairman Kim Hyun-Chung and Iglesia Ni Cristo Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo.

Hanwha E&C said that the work will be carried out over 30 months to be finished early 2014.

To God be the Glory!

Unannounced Blog Leave

Though I’ve been offline for just a number of days, I feel like I’ve neglected my blogs for a long time. I was busy during the last few days due to a series of  personal and work-related events I attended.
July 16 – Children’s Thanksgiving Worship Service in our Church. I accompanied my children in this special occasion. I’ve been busy looking for perfect outfits for them, too.
July 17-22 – Makati City celebrated the 2nd Gender and Development Week. I helped my colleagues in the activities which included a mass calisthenics, exhibit, and free medical check-up. It also marked our  seven (7)  fruitful years of promoting gender equality in Makati.
July 23-24 – (Adult) Anniversary Thanksgiving. I performed twice in the choir. Iglesia Ni Cristo celebrates its 97th anniversary. Trivia : Iglesia Ni Cristo was registered in the Philippine government last July 27, 1914. In this regard, I’d like to greet all INC brethren worldwide, a blessed Happy Anniversary to you all!
July 24 – My husband’s niece celebrated her 18th birthday. I was of the busy bees in party preparations as I was assigned in the preparation of video presentation for the birthday girl. I’m so happy and proud of our output as it turned out good and it was well-appreciated by the debutante. Aside from that, Yasmin, my daughter rendered an entertainment number during the party. If you are my friend on Facebook, you might as well watch her video there. She sung Mine by Taylor Swift and Firework by Katy Perry. She did well and made me and my husband proud parents lolz.
July 25 – My well-deserved break! I took a day off from work.
July 26 – Back to work and had tons of tasks to do.
So that’s it!!!
