A Different Kind of Summer

This is not the first that Yohan spent summer vacation with my Mama and sister in our province. When he was one year old, he stayed there with my sister and went back to Manila few days before my birthday (on May).  Now, is kinda different. He will be staying there for the entire school year. We agreed to celebrate New Year together that means he will be going back perhaps during the holiday break.  Not this summer, not on my birthday.
We missed him during the usual family outing of Zaballa Clan. This time we went to Minalungao National Park located in the Municipality of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
The place is so beautiful! Clean and green river, unique rock formation and breathtaking view. Love the balsa (bamboo raft) that served as cottages for the tourists. We stayed the the biggest balsa which can accommodate at least 50 persons.  We’ll definitely go back during off-peak season.

Yohan, on the other hand, is enjoying life in the province. Look how happy he is posing for pictures with vast greenery as the background.

That’s our different kind of summer!
