The MalacaƱan Palace declared August 9, 2013 as a regular holiday in line with the end of Ramadan or Eid ‘l Ftr. This is stated in the Presidential Proclamation No. 629 issued by President Aquino.
The Palace already declared two more holidays in August, that is August 21(Wednesday) as Ninoy Aquino Day which is a special non-working holiday, and August 26 (last Monday of August) as a regular holiday to in celebration of National Heroes Day.
Tick off your calendars, block the dates, and get ready for your travel plans or whatever you wish to do. For working moms like me, it could either mean three rest days, family bonding or general cleaning.
How about you, what are your plans for the upcoming holidays?
I love holidays!! :)) that means rest to me too!!
