I am referring to my first-ever “long” weekend in 2008…I availed 2 of my 5 days mandatory leave last Feb 26 and 27. Tamang-tama holiday pa nung 25, since Malacañang declared it as a non-working holiday.
Instead of going out-of-town or going to the mall, as per previous plan, I stayed at home with my little one…nag-bonding kaming mag-ina. I also had the chance to clean the house and cooked chicken afritada yesterday… So far, okey naman – successful naman ang pagluluto hehehe. Nakuha ko na ang sikreto ng masarap na afritada.
Btw, I took the graduate program admission test at UP last Sunday morning. Fortunately, I met two of my friends there. nag-take din ng exam. One of them was my co-scholar in college while the other was a friend from an organization of IT professionals…we’re still waiting for the results and hope that we all qualify to the program.
Now that I am back to work, na-miss ko ang bonding moments namin ni Thea. I’m looking forward for another vacation… It would during Thea’s birthday, may 2 days leave ulit ako….
